FAQs

What is the cost per session?

Individual therapy sessions are priced at $175, while relationship, couples, partners, and family therapy sessions are $225. For those in need, I offer lower rates and a sliding scale option, please feel free to reach out directly to discuss rates, as finances should not prevent you from pursuing therapy. If I am unable to accommodate your needs for any reason, I will make every effort to help you find a suitable fit elsewhere.

Do you take insurance?

While I am not in-network with any insurance company, I can provide a detailed invoice or superbill used for out of network therapy sessions, allowing you to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. This is helpful for clients with PPO insurance.

What happens during the first session?

During our first session, I’ll answer any questions that you might have and review the Informed Consent, confidentiality and my practice policies. We will discuss your reasons for seeking treatment and discuss your short and long-term goals for therapy. The first session is all about getting to know you and for building a safe and trusting rapport together.

The first session will help us determine if we are a good fit for each other.

How often should I have therapy?

I recommend weekly sessions on a consistent schedule for the first three months, and then evaluating our progress together. If a client needs more support or is in crisis, I am available for additional weekly sessions. Each client has specific goals and needs and setting a rigid timeline for therapy can cause undue stress.

It is my goal to put myself out of a job and to see my clients meet their goals and flourish!

What is your cancellation policy?

I require a 24-hour notice of cancellation in order to avoid a full payment fee for a missed session. If this is concerning due to the nature of your circumstances, please discuss with me prior to entering treatment.
