Therapy For Men & Teens

A man sitting on a brown leather couch, holding his forehead with his right hand, appears to be in distress or deep thought, in a dimly lit room with a dark teal wall background.

Working Through Stress, Disconnection, and Identity

I help men and teen boys who are navigating:

  • Work and career stress

  • Relationship or parenting challenges

  • Emotional shutdown or reactivity

  • Feeling isolated, stuck, or misunderstood

  • Anxiety, self-doubt, or low motivation

  • The fear of “screwing it all up”

Many of us are also confronting outdated ideas of what it means to “be a man.” In therapy, we look at how family dynamics, culture, and media have shaped your identity—and we start to renegotiate that on your terms.

How I Work

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and tailored to what you need most. I integrate:

Narrative Therapy to help you explore the personal and cultural stories shaping your identity, relationships, and behavior—and to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen emotional awareness and rebuild trust, connection, and intimacy in relationships.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness—especially helpful when emotions feel overwhelming or hard to manage.

Whether we’re working together to heal disconnection, improve communication, or build emotional tools, therapy is a place to feel supported, challenged, and truly seen.

What Clients Often Say After a Few Sessions

  • "I feel more connected and less reactive."

  • "I finally understand where this stress is coming from."

  • "I'm not carrying this all alone anymore."

  • "This actually helped faster than I expected."

A No-Pressure Start

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be. I offer a 50-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit. If we’re not, the session is free.

You deserve support, clarity, and a space to feel fully seen.

Ready to Start?

Whether you’re navigating the stress of modern masculinity, struggling at work or in your relationships, or watching your teen wrestle with emotions they don’t know how to name—reach out.

Let’s explore what healing and growth could look like, together.

When You're Holding It All Together—But Feel Like You're Falling Apart

Maybe you’re managing work, family, and responsibilities, but inside you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. The pressure to keep it together can be exhausting. You might feel distant from your partner, shut down emotionally, or unsure how to ask for what you need.

For teens, the stress may show up as anger, withdrawal, anxiety, or confusion. They're navigating school, relationships, social media, and identity in a world that rarely gives them the tools or permission to talk about how they feel.

A Space to Talk About What Really Matters

Whether you're a teen or an adult, I offer a space to speak honestly—without judgment or pressure to perform. It's a space to explore what’s not working, understand where it comes from, and find a different way forward.
